Lily really stepped up and did an outstanding job of taking my concept and making it into reality. She has such an eye for artistic design, and is very patient when it comes to tweaking the project with minor adjustments. I just can't say enough about how pleased I am with Lily and this whole process. It was a truly wonderful experience!
The professional book cover design by designer McFrance was extraordinary and I am extremely grateful. Everything I asked for once done quickly and will most certainly have a great book cover now because of this designers' hard work and care about his client. Thank you.
Fabulous work and responsiveness!

I help people in transition "learn to learn" so that they can make the changes in their lives they want so that they can acheive the excellence they desire.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I would like to use my logo colours of black, red and purple on the cover in some fashion. You can see my logo and its colours on my website http://www.tlsolutions.ca I am not looking for the logo on the cover. The title is " Have You Met the Oudon?" and should feature prominently and catch a person's attention. I see the cover as being striking, bold, but simple. Some type of image of the Oudon (see below for more about this) might be appropriate. Any other images of people on the cover must begender neutral. The audience I am aming at is people in transition in their lives that want to make changes.
The story is about a person who goes in search of wisdom and knowledge- a hero/quest story. The story is deliberately kept gender neutral so anyone can relate to it. The protagonist goes in search of a master who when finally found sends him on a mission to meet the Oudon before he will take them on as a student. The person must confront the Oudon, a mythical beast living in a cave who has the reputation of destroying those who are not strong enough to confront it. The beast is big, scary, ferocious, monster like! However, if you use an image of the Oudon in the design I don't want the scary part of it to dominate. I would envision more beast like and big rather than scary for the cover as this is a motivation book and I don't want to scare people with the cover art. The perrson has to go through three stages of discovering the beast: hearing it, seeing it, and finally touching it. In the end the beast turns out to be a friend and in reality is just all the fears the person has been carrying for all their life. So they are really discovering themselves. When the person returns to the master for the third time actually being carried by the Oudon the master tells the person that they have no need of him as a master as they have now learned all they need to know.
