Target audience are parents of 8 to 12 year old children. Whyzz is a media company that helps parents raise global citizen by equipping them with tools to explain the world to their kids.
What's your vision?
Book cover front and back for book "33 things to explain the world to kids". The book's aim is to be a conversation starter for discussions at the dinner table or at any other quiet family time with the help of everyday objects. It is focused on all the amazing things in the world with a child's perspective of "what is in it for me". Topics range from "Planet" to "Humanity" to "Individuals".Examples: Atmosphere explained with an apple peel, art with a urinal, government with lacross sticks. The book is meant to foster curiosity, fun conversations and an understanding about how everything is interrelated. Every object is shown with an isolated photograph and a graphic that points out it's connection to other objects. Design should be minimalistic, using the Whyzz brand colors (see attachment). I am attaching some elements I like, some benchmark book covers and two ideas just to show a direction. Curious, fun, interesting, smart are attributes the design should reflect.
Please avoid "childish" elements. Book is meant for families and is not a kids' book. Clutter also needs to be avoided.
