What's your vision?
I am looking for a book cover for my book in French "L’Oreille absolue dévoilée, ou comment l’acquérir." (translation: Perfect Pitch unveiled or how you can develop it). The book talks about auditive perception and the phenomenon known as perfect pitch - the ability to recognise musical notes without any reference. The way our brain works when we practice music, and I also give some exercices and practical advice to start with. It is an educational guide to perfect pitch development. The book is for general audience (adults) : 1) novice and amateurs musicians, 2) professional musicians, for all instruments including singers, and all music genres. I would like a simple, clean, inspiring, visually elegant, but not childish or too graphic in style, cover. The key words are : ear training, brain, hearing, listening, perception, music education (unconventional approach), music practice I would like to avoid the use of an image of any particular music instrument, or a specific musical style, but probably something around treble clef (not from the stock images) would be cool. I would like a flat and 3d rendered image of the ebook, with a spine. The cover should have three major textual elements : Title (pls, keep the comma at the end): L’Oreille absolue dévoilée, Subtitle: ou comment l’acquérir Author: Katja Keller The most important part of the title is the word 'L’Oreille absolue ' so definitely make that stand out. The subtitle should be underneath and maybe in smaller caps. UPDATE : no brain, no headphones, no any specific musical instrument. The most important part of the title is the word 'L’Oreille absolue ' -should be in ONE line or in one colour, contrasting the word " dévoilée" Message : creativity, imagination, ease, music.
