Her white origin will lead her to the Basque country, in Spain, where she won´t find no home -neither more answers tan questions-, yet, thanks to a legend, she will find an ancient, distant root that will link her to something bigger and higher tan the mountains she ever dreamt of. This legend promises to change not only her misfortunate background, but also other living beings´s. She will be swept along her detested 19th century European Civilization, Muslim lands, India and, finally, Nepal´s Himalaya. She will overcome any adversity presented by each mountain as well as all the barriers of her heart. Searching for the highest mountain in the world. Searching for Life´s deepest meaning. La novela narra la aventura y viaje interior de una adolescente Lakota tras perder su tribu y descubrir su ascendencia occidental. Sus raíces blancas la guiarán hasta el país vasco, donde no encontrará un hogar (ni más respuestas que preguntas), sino una antigua y remota raíz que la vinculará, mediante una leyenda, a algo mucho más grande que sus ensoñadas montañas. Esa leyenda que promete cambiar no sólo su desdichado mundo, sino el de todos los seres vivos, la arrastrará a través de su abominada civilización europea del siglo XIX, tierras musulmanas, la India y el Himalaya nepalí, superando los obstáculos que cada montaña le presente, así como todas las barreras de su corazón.
