COMPLETE MAKEOVER: A SEVEN-STEP PROCESS TO TRANSFORMING YOUR LIFE
Bachir Bastien is the trusted life coach and trainer for millennials and executives throughout Asia, the Americas, and Europe. Since 2016, Bastien has enabled countless junior and senior leaders to create and maintain lasting life transformation. Born in Haiti and raised by a single mother, Bastien has been through every imaginable setback. The hardship he’s been through has driven him to devote his life to help others overcome and grow through their own challenges. He conducts his workshops and one-on-one coaching in Haitian Creole, French, English, and Mandarin Chinese. My book provides the millennials with the tools they need to reduce their dependence on a coach. An increasing number of millennials are finding it frustrating to be sold “self-improvement” techniques constantly. We need a set of techniques we can use anytime without depending on a book or a guru. In there lies the importance of “maintaining,” one’s goal. Imagine you read a book that teaches you how to get the ripped physique you’ve always dreamed of. What happens after that? How do you fight the negative pull of complacency? How do you deal with the negative voices of your mind? Having read nearly two hundred self-help books, I yet have to read a book that teaches how not to relapse to one’s old self without the help of a guru. Second, I wrote this book to cope with the nothing-for-something and I-want-it-now mindset that most millennials fall prey to. We’re born in an internet age that drives us to believe that everything should come to us in the blink of an eye. We assume just like we order our beautiful pair of shoes online and have it at our doors in no time, it should be the same with our life goals. Many dismiss the personal qualities and principles we must follow to build a meaningful life. After reading my book, the reader will understand the importance of failure, time, and more importantly discipline in working toward a worthwhile goal. They will build courage, self-confidence, resilience, and a strong will to help them set, reach, and maintain their life goals. With a decision-making stage, effective goal-setting, and discipline-building exercises, this book will prove crucial to the 75 million millennials who just want more out of life. According to statistics, this group will spend $300 on self-improvement a month, therefore a $20 book is a drop in the bucket. I’m confident that they will gladly spend $20 on a book that teaches them proven ways to build sustainable success.
