We are a permaculture designed farm that produces healthier food to make a healthier world. We focus on local customers needs, exploring a variety of goods. We raise heritage breed poultry for meat and eggs, heirloom vegetables, honey, gourmet mushrooms, fruits, berries and nuts.

Our primary concerns are for a logo that works equally well in digital assets and as a focus point for any product labels and tags. We are currently expanding content on our website to better highlight all of our products. We are also planning on adding informative articles on our journey with sustainable agriculture practices, permaculture design principles, heirloom vegetable details, and spotlight various animals raised on the farm. The goal of the additional content is to highlight the local efforts of food production and to educate customers about food production in general. *************************** Clarification #1 For 2016, our sales will likely be 50% vegetables, fruits (non-citrus), berries, 20% honey, flowers, other and 30% poultry products. Our website content is currently skewed poultry because that was our first step of expanding customer sales year-round. *************************** The included initial logo and style guide notes is not meant to be a restriction or even a launching point. We are looking to depart from our own amateur attempts and welcome new thoughts and suggestions on form and color. ------------------------ Additional notes: On a desired blend of Classic and Modern: We have it in our minds for a blend of 1920's design era with a future retro-remix of that time. Basically, giving a feeling of history without feeling old. Sustainability is achieved by leveraging the interconnected relationships that naturally occur, minimizing effort, energy and resources needed for a fertile environment. Timeless: We mean a style that instills a sense of history, while not seeming old or antiquated. The classic style that seems like it always was or is something meant to be in the future. -------------------------------------- Literal or Abstract?: We leave it up the designer on which side to lean towards. If literal elements are chosen please take care to not emphasize one particular product to make it seem like we have that one primary focus. We actively avoid mono-culture farming practices, and strive to increase biodiversity while also increasing food production. ---------------------------- Non-marketing terms for context: Force ourselves to be described by three goals: -Sustainable -Diversified -Educational Achieving those goals with a culture of: -Curiosity -Compassion -Service --------------------------- Additional Notes #3 Added actual image of the crescent moon viewable from our farm. The entirety of the dark moon was visible even though the crescent was the only bright section.
