Create a Vintage - Organic - Logo for Sunset Grille

Sunset Grille

We are a neighborhood restaurant/bar with a New American Menu with a Southwestern Flair. We are an established restaurant which has been in operation for 26 years. We are going through a huge renovation and feel it is time for us to grow up a bit. We are looking for a logo our customers can identify with. Our customers range in ages from 21 to 65. We attract business clientele, families, seniors & under 30 crowd especially on on our live entertainment nights and late night bar. We are open Lunch & Dinner & Late night bar hours. We were established in 1990, which would be okay to add to logo design. Our menu is New American with a touch of the Southwest. I like my current logo very much. But am looking for something more simple. To ease in screen printing, embroidery printing, etc on our products and clothing as well as menu and marketing material.
I really do not want a sun or pepper unless it melds right into the design.
I am open to ideas and suggestions from designers.

Attached is our current logo which we have used for 26 years. I would like to simplify and update it to reflect todays trends and looks. I do not want the busy sun design anymore. I am looking for simple, organic & cool. I do like the font of the Sunset Grille in the current logo, kind of a retro vibe, but I am open to all ideas I can get. Thanks
