How Yournetguy started their logo & brand identity pack journey
Who are you known as?
10X Guitar or 10X Guitar Skills (I have the 10XGuitarSkills.com domain, I've got a bid in on 10XGuitar.com that I haven't heard back on yet).
What’s your company slogan?
I'm thinking either: "Master the Guitar 10X Faster" or "Accelerated Learning System to 10X Your Guitar Skills" (but I'm open to ideas)
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a startup company that will be targeting the Baby Boomer (and maybe a little younger - say 40 to 65 year olds) demographic that wants to either learn the guitar for the first time, get better at it "faster". We will be creating content that is centered around the accelerated learning principles, habits, and technology. Ultimately integrating Artifical Intelligence (AI), and other forms of technology as is applied to learning a musical instrument. We will also be helping Users access their current skill level, access their guitar playing aspirations, commitment level, learning style and help connect with the guitar instructor(s), and other experts, that will help them accomplish their goals on the instrument as fast as possible.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I like the idea of incorporating an electric guitar, fretboard or guitar headstock into the logo (although not mandatory). This could even be done with a modern, classy type of illustration. I like a darker color palette (blacks, dark grays, grays) and possibly accented with red. I think the logo needs to communicate the "10X" part as it relates to speed (i.e. Ten Times Faster), and maybe even have an element of "motion" in the image (like it's going somewhere fast). But we don't want to "overdue" that. I'd also prefer that it leans towards a "high tech" feel. Ideally, I would like the logo to work with either the name "10X Guitar" or "10X Guitar Skills", so if I end up getting the 10XGuitar.com domain, I can drop the word "Skills" (unless 10XGuitarSkills.com just makes better sense as a domain name). Again, my demographic is older, has "means", probably listens to Classic Rock or Blues Rock (music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s). They want to get good on the guitar, might even play in a band, but will probably not be thinking about becoming a professional musician.
