What's your vision?
INVITATION DESIGN - REVISED Three page set: main invitation, photo page, details page. Photos and word doc with details copy are below. The SURPRISE 65th Birthday Party is honoring the host's mom and dad. (the names MARIANNE AND VAN should be featured prominently). The fact that it's a SURPRISE should be really clear. Rustic, chic barn party with a lake view at an idyllic farm outside of Atlanta, GA. Don't think cutesy barn - chick, white-washed, strings of globe lights from the rafters. The invitation needs to include three photos of the couple, they are also celebrating 43 years of marriage. *the photos are as high res as they can be - old and scanned LOGO and TAGLINE - looking for a modern, rustic, round stamp and banner or monogram - should feel hand-drawn THIS ELEMENT WILL BE USED THROUGHOUT ALL PRINTED COLLATERALS - needs to stand on it's own and define the look and feel of the invitation. The copy on that LOGO is as follows: "Marianne and Van 65 Birthdays 43 Anniversaries 1 Great Celebration" Event details: Saturday, August 24, 2013 7:00 PM Sharp Three Hearts Farm 4328 Roscoe Rd Key inspiration words: wood grain, burlap, shades of white, stringing globe lights, typography that looks hand-drawn or stamped, rustic yet modern, chalkboard lettering, candle lit, sunset under mossy oaks, iced sweet tea, white-washed wood About the couple: he was a pilot (Army and commercial), is a ham radio operator and loves cycling/hunting/fishing; she has been an elementary principal for forty years and loves the ocean. They met each other in Kindergarten. Daughter throwing the surprise party lives in DC - they will never see this one coming! _________________ Another concept the client likes is a map showing the important places in their lives, as there will be guests from all these places. Maybe a hand drawn one with links to each spot. Maybe for he back of the invitation: Greenwood, MS Mobile, AL Killeen, TX Corpus Christi, TX New Orleans, LA Puerto Rico Sharpsburg, GA
Colors: I'm open. Originally I wanted tomato red and robin's egg blue, and nothing looked like I envisioned. Maybe it's best to stick with shades of white/gray/wood/burlap with a pop of something. I love marigold yellow, but I hate to mention it. Defining a color didn't work the first round of designs. Components of set: Invitation (possibly using a pattern on the back of the card that could also be used as an envelope liner) Envelope address should be a design - think outside the 'label' box. Stand alone logo/brand is important!!!!!
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Card or invitation starts at €179.
