drew.bourke got their new landing page design by running a design contest:
Create a Tabbed Review Panel for SalesRater
Check out drew.bourke's Landing page design contest…
SalesRater gathers and displays customer reviews for businesses. Provides a widget for companies to display their customer reviews on their own website.
White background. Open. Clean. Digestible. Easy to read. It will be used in MANY websites, so it cannot have dominant colors or backgrounds. This is about displaying customer reviews in a nice, open, easy to view format.
Elements to include in the landing page
This is a REVIEWS DISPLAY PANEL: We want to display customer reviews from multiple review websites, all in one place: SalesRater, Google+, Facebook, Yelp!, DealerRater, Foursquare, Cars.com, CitySearch and Edmonds. We want a tabbed or buttoned interface, allowing people to view customer reviews from a specific website (ie: view only Facebook Reviews) or, to click "View ALL Reviews" and see all. The background should be white. Keep it open, clean and responsive. This will be used inside existing websites as an "add-on". We'd like new flat icons for the various review websites (to be used in the buttons / tabs): Google+, Facebook, Yelp!, DealerRater, Foursquare, Cars.com, CitySearch and Edmonds (the SalesRater icon is included) SalesRater Reviews SalesRater provides "PREMIUM" reviews that include a Customer Photo, Customer Name, Year/Make/Model of Vehicle Purchased, and the Salesperson's Name. We want SalesRater Reviews to STAND OUT from the rest of the reviews, while still fitting in the space.
We attached some examples of different review layouts, but really like "open" and "clean" vs. busy. We created the image with tabs to help show what we want built, but please create something new and fresh that's original for us The tabbed interface is very important :)
