Juan really took the time to understand the context of the ask and to design a solution that would appeal to a majority of stakeholders. When it was clear that we were going with Juan's design, Juan was very responsive to requests for tweaks and minor changes, up until the last stage. I would definitely work with Juan again.

Who are you known as?
Pirate Radio Bayern
What’s your company slogan?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We produce an alternative radio channel: alternative rock / pop and electronica. Inspired by the early pirate radios in the 60s we would like make radio great again far from charts music and mainstream talk.
We are a new little webradio station and have regular live sessions from festivals and concerts (like KEXP).
Our target group are people from 24 to 38. We are a quite young radio station, which tries to be alternative. Pirate Radio is not a name, which should suggest, that we have a pirate flag or a skull or play hard rock. It should tell other people: we are like the pirate radios in the 60s: we don´t like any mainstream / chart channels and would like to offer a new channel for young people, who think that spotify is the best radio station in the world.
Our design should be flat, modern and little bit retro. There hasn´t to be any pirate etc. in it. Try to image the idea of an alternative, modern radio station. Or just listen to our station: http://www.pirateradio.bayern!
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?

The slogan hasn´t to be part of the logo. We are open for all ideas. What do you think would be a great radiostation logo, which you would hear, when you listen to alternative rock and pop and electronica? Bands like Flume, Muse, Killers, Arcade Fire, Scott Bradleys Postmodern Jukebox, 60s and 70s.
