WHAT IS ALUNA MIA ABOUT:
Educating about the importance of putting self-care back into health care. Human beings thrive in an environment where they can find balance in their social, spiritual, physical, mental and emotional identities or aspects. My profession is aromatherapist and herbalist and I use them as tools to bring awareness to every aspect of the human environment. As of right now I am starting my business with online education and workshops, but will expand it by creating physical products that will support bringing self-care into each component of the human environment.
As a side note: 'Aluna' is Mother Earth in the Tayrona culture and 'Aluna Mia' means Mother Earth within. The purpose is to reconnect ourselves back with nature. Our bodies are meant to heal themselves but we have taxed them with too many things that bring them out of balance, so what Aluna Mia does is provide you with the tools to reestablish that connection, and for us to be able to notice how can we help our bodies heal, and when to seek further assistance.
Women 40+, busy and concerned about how to deal with aging parents and their health and at the same time wanting to learn how to live a better lifestyle that helps her stay as healthy as possible.

I like the sleek lines of the animal, and the modern font where not everything is spelled out.
I like the way the kitty and the leaf come together. I find it kind of unique
The simple color lines of the logo plus the difference in color within the name
The cursive swipe that ties the whole design plus the pop of color in the i. I have envisioned Aluna in cursive and Mia not, but that is just an idea that has been in my mind.
What I don't want:
I don't want cartoonish logos, or something that is too busy that makes it difficult to read or understand. I would also like to stand away from the common and overdone images related to wellness and wellbeing.
As I am planning on adding at a later stage words such as Botanicals, or School, I prefer something more stream lined. I could also use the phrase Mother Earth Within in the logo but not necessarily.
I have liked 3 colors which are by no means set in stone, so I want for you to feel free to choose something that will work best with your creation. The colors are:
9DFFB7 (Though I prefer a tone not so neonish. This is a little too bright)
I want that when someone looks at my logo, feels that they can feel confident about my company, ease about they being able to learn how to better their lives, and that we genuinely care about them.
