www.gforces.co.uk Established in 1999, GForces builds, manages and markets websites for leading automotive retailers and manufacturers. Designing and developing their own software, web management and digital marketing tools, the company focuses on delivering the most effective digital strategies for their clients. We are the largest specialised digital agency in the automotive industry dedicated to ensuring our clients get the most from the internet. We build, manage and market online strategies for more than half of the UK’s top 200 motor retailers and numerous OEMs. We drive the digital dealership through our NetDirector software suite helping OEMs and automotive retailers manage their business with technology designed for the internet. From web through showroom to aftersales systems, NetDirector software is providing next generation Customer Experience Management (CXM) and business insight at all levels of the automotive retail process through desktop, mobile and tablet devices. We don’t just build software though; we excel in managing all aspects of digital marketing including search, social media, retargeting and online reviews. The internet is a complex environment so we make it our duty to help educate our clients and evolve the culture within those organisations so they adapt effectively to this challenge. We separate our brand into three areas which we call the GForces Trinity: Web Platform, Web Management and Web Marketing. The GForces Trinity is the philosophy that guides our every action. It ensures we not only introduce pioneering technology and continue to innovate, but also that these advances can actually be applied to our clients’ businesses and their web assets are promoted to the right audience. By fusing together the best technology, driving a cultural shift within the automotive industry, and integrating techniques that reach engaged consumers, the GForces Trinity has delivered unparalleled levels of success for our clients’ digital strategy. The key belief is that the use of internet and digital techniques can improve the consumer’s car buying and car owning experience. Through the correct application of digital techniques and software, efficiencies and improvements throughout the supply chain can be delivered. When it comes to GForces, we are passionate about the automotive and digital technologies and the inevitability of change. Evolution is embedded is a central theme to the way we operate. This is held alongside an attitude to ‘change before you have to’, initiative becomes the inevitable outcome. The four values create a virtuous cycle if adopted to their full: Integrity – believe in what you do and do it with conviction and truth Information – use data, inputs or context from the market, society, economy or world in general to inform your strategy and decisions. Review the outputs of these decisions continuously to drive Innovation – deliver positive change Initiative – by embracing change we understand we must take the opportunity, we must not dwell, we must be positive and we must be first Target audience: UK Top 200 automotive dealer groups and car manufacturers often referred to as OEMs which stands for – Original Equipment Manufacturers (Nissan, Mazda, and Mitsubishi)
Logo types to explore
Requirements: To us the word GForces connotes forward thrust, power, inertia, momentum, drive & motion. Potentially something you cannot control but happens based on interaction with the world around you. If GForces were a car we’d be a Porsche or Audi. We consider ourselves more Apple than Microsoft, Zidane rather than Messi. We aspire to precision, clarity, accuracy which is all tied up in integrity (it’s also about accuracy of data). We want to achieve scalable quality with a hint of exclusivity – Rolex (without the bling image) Our style is leading edge. We are smart and perceived as more professional and polished than our competitors. However slickness or ‘polish’ are not words we want to be associated with as they convey style over substance. We want to be synonymous with amazing presentation coupled with tangible, knock-out technology. We need to be easy to engage with as a brand, company and software house so no matter how complex our business, it’s got to be easy for our clients. We are looking for a logo to represent our brand and business GForces. 1. Spelling is strictly GForces or GFORCES (not G-Forces, G Forces, GForce or Gforces) 2. No cartoons, stock images or clip art The files we will require are: Print file format - .ai (CMYK) Web file format - .jpg and layered .psd (RGB) Please do not use any stock images or clip art in the logo
