Hot sauce (and related spicy foods) company with a 1960s and 1970s hard funk music theme. Small-batch, all-natural products. Sell to restaurants and direct to consumer. Some tie-ins and co-branding of specific products with music artists. Target audience: adults who like spicy food and music. Especially targeting fans of Parliament-Funkadelic, Bootsy Collins, James Brown, Sly & the Family Stone.
Logo needs to translate well even at small size. One use of logo will be on labels of hot sauce bottles, where the specific hot sauce name will be larger than the brand logo at times. Consider incorporating design elements similar to those used in hard funk and hard psych band logos, album covers, and t-shirt designs. Consider using a skull or a hot pepper for the apostrophe in "Funk o' Tears" similar to the way the band Funkadelic dots the "i" with one. If using a pepper as apostrophe, consider including a skull as some other design element. Consider typography that conveys a retro funk vibe.
