Maelstrom is a pleasure to work with. He's incredibly insightful and passionate about designs; throughout the process of working together, I have been continually impressed by his ability to take initial ideas and build from them, creating something truly remarkable and innovative. To work with a designer that is capable, responsive, and energetic is wonderful. He has a phenomenal sense of color, line, form and function-- the overall aesthetic effect is striking, with something powerful underneath that comes from that special design sensibility. I'm definitely thrilled, now, to be sharing this art with the world. Thank you.

Our current products include a Founding Father's Trivia app and a Founding Father's Quotes app. I'd like to go with a Liberty Bell icon in which is fairly simple, but highlights the iconic crack. I've attached my amature attempts to create such an icon.
On this icon, I will put the name of my apps (like Founding Father's Trivia) and the name of the company ("By Liberty Crate", or just "Liberty Crate").
Since it's primary use will be App Icons, I'll need this to work at 512x512 as well as 108x108.
I have no idea what colors will convey the spirit of history, liberty and learning; I'd love your suggestions.
