*The logo should be chic, bold, clean, elegant, simple and sophisticated, and feel luxe/glam while still being approachable.
*I would like the signature icon logo to be either the "PS" or a signature icon/object/symbol that represents the brand. It should be memorable, easily recognizable, while still being simple, luxe, and easily adapted.
*The logo should feel professional, trustworthy, luxe, and memorable. Our services are luxe, and all natural/organic so the customer should look at the brand and feel that.

GENERAL DESIGN AESTHETIC and more logo details:
*I like clean, chic, feminine designs. This is meant to appeal to both the fun, trendy woman and the sophisticated, elegant professional. I want people to look at our brand and think of it as clean, strong, trendy, chic, modern, sophisticated and a little clever.
*Ideally, the script could be a mix of cursive and regular - perhaps with the company name regular and the slogan in cursive script? Playing around with the "P" and the "S" as those are the two signature letters from the company name (PerSalon = your personal salon = PS).
Social impact, and in particular - empowering women- is a core value. Clean, organic, natural beauty is another value. We also believe in pamper, so there should be a luxe feel as well. A strong brand identity is key to PerSalon's success.
BRANDS I ENJOY:
Brands that I like that cater to a similar demographic include: Cora ( on demand organic tampons + social impact), SoulCyle, DryBar, the Glam App ( beauty on demand company) Birchbox, Olive & June (nail salon with an online presence). I really like Plush's logo and their brand identity - I like the contrast of clean and feminine/ strong and soft, and the simple, playful elephant. While I enjoy feminine, delicate designs, I also want the design to stand out and have some sharpness/boldness/ structure to it. I like how drybar has a very solid logo font mixed in with the playfulness of the blowdryer icon and yellow. I'm hoping for a mix of sophisticated/luxe/clean with feminine whimsy.
I'm interested in rich teal & gold/champagne OR teal/gold/blush/pink OR blush/pink & black color schemes but am really really open to other great color themes - anything unique and that stands out but is still true to the brand. I love how DryBar created a unique yellow-grey that is both fun and sophisticated; Creating a unique color aesthetic that appeals to my base would be ideal. Exploring watercolor effects would be interesting too.
I would also like to look at some design options that incorporate a signature object/symbol/etc as the logo icon/to represent the business. Something that is playful and chic, and embodies values like strength, love, empowerment, women, clean/organic beauty, etc. Ideally, it would relate to the company and align with what we do.
Above all, I want the design to be clean, professional, able to be easily duplicated and translated onto many different formats (marketing materials, various paraphernalia), and the "PS" monogram should be easily recognizable and signature.
