How Yoga and Meditation started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Sri Swami Purohit
What’s your company slogan?
Yoga for Enlightenment
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We teach yoga and meditation all over Spain and in some other European countries. The name in the logo: Sri Swami Purohit, is the name of the Indian yoga master who teaches all the courses. The key to our courses is connecting students to their inner selves so that they can tap into their own inner peace, calm and happiness and learn not to depend on material goods or outside circumstances for their emotional wellbeing. We teach students to become emotionally self sufficient and to achieve their maximum potential in life. We organise courses, retreats and trips to India. Our target audience is men and women between 25 and 70 years of age. We publish all our information in English and Spanish and have students in countries all over the world, some who follow our courses online. With our courses, we aim to improve peoples' lives by helping them to develop greater peace, improve their personal relationships and achieve their goals.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Oranges: Creativity, adventure and happiness.
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
Let designers make suggestions:
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We would like our logo to be easily recognizable as being related to yoga and meditation. We currently have a lotus flower logo but would like something completely different now.
The idea of harmony is also important to us so we like symbols and designs that flow, rather than being composed of disconnected shapes or symbols.
Also, we would like the logo to reflect power and strength (emotional and spiritual) rather than contemplation and seclusion. A kind of peaceful dynamism.
I hope that helps!
