I thought the designer adjusted very well during the contest. I was originally going with another design. But he must have noticed I like the sword and shield feel to the logo design and he was able to make an adjustment that made his design my favorite.

We sell learning courses (primarily academic) to 16-18 year old students and young adult learners.
Our long term vision is to better prepare students for the rest of their life, by teaching them how to learn effectively and introducing them to knowledge and skills that will benefit them for life.
Hence: to elevate them "Up"

Please refer to the design examples above for an idea of the types of styles and formats I like. You will notice that most of them have an icon/graphic that exemplifies what the business does, and can potentially stand alone from the business name.
I am looking for a logo that, when you look at it, shows you that we are an online learning company.
Also, keep in mind that our company is targeted towards teenagers. We want the logo to be fun, youthful, and modern.
