WHAT WE DO:
We give every plant and every farmer a better chance…by partnering with farmers to understand their operation and provide customized solutions to maximize results.
The Power2Gro crop production system is the brand name for that customized solution. Power2Gro is not our company's name but the brand name for our production system. This is a very important distinction.
Our dealers work with each farmer to prescribe the right products and techniques for the specific challenge(s) that the farmer faces. The products in the Power2Gro crop production system are proprietary formulations of liquid nutrients and biologicals which improve soil condition, stimulate root growth, and enhance overall plant health. The individual products are used alone or in combination, depending on the needs of the soil and/or crop.
The word mark portion of the Power2Gro logo must be designed with our individual products in mind; the typographic form must be transferable to each product name to allow for a complete product-line identity system. Our product-line names are racing themed (e.g., Throttle, Accelerate, Turbo, Ignition, Rev Up) but, please, no cliché or stereotypical racing type or imagery. However, with names like that, a subtle nod toward the spirit of racing or speed would be a good thing.
Our product packaging currently employs a unique color for each product for easy identification and location in the warehouse or farmer’s building. We would like to continue this with a redesign as well, so the individual product word mark needs to work well with a variety of different colors and intensities.
Our customers are not your typical farmer. They do not employ traditional farming methods. They are no-till and strip-till farmers who love what they do and want to make a difference. They want to improve the quality of the land/soil and the produce they grow. They are well educated about agronomy with an eagerness to learn more. Our target audience is predominantly male with the majority being somewhere between 35 to 55 years old, leaning slightly toward the younger end of that range.
In addition to product packaging and online, this logo must also be easily recognizable and legible when seen from a distance such as on dealer signs, vehicles, and small field signs. We want the logo to stand out, be impactful, and not blend in when placed in the field so keep that in mind when making color choices as well as determining complexity.
