How briomike started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Brio: noun | vigor, vivacity.
Brio is a new B2B collaboration software platform for people working in the agriculture supply chain. We are launching in late 2016. Our web and mobile apps will be used by growers, packers, marketers, crop advisors and labor contractors who grow, harvest, pack, and sell fruit, vegetables and nuts. Our software will be used by people daily to GSD (Get *Stuff* Done). Think Slack, Asana, or Trello for agriculture.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Greens: Growth, harmony and success.
Yellows: Energy, intellect, fun and youth.
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.

We want our logo to have a simple, clean, modern design that will become recognizable in the agriculture industry. We envision our logo contains a graphical element adjacent to the word “brio”. We would like the flexibility to place the graphical element to the left of, or on top of, the word “brio”. We plan to use the graphical element in icons and app badges. A sans serif font or sans serif stylized custom lettering is preferred for the word “brio”. We prefer the logo have either 1 color or 2 colors that compliment one another. The logo should look good in color, black & white, grayscale and reverse image.
For the graphical element, we are undecided between abstract and literal styling, and look forward to reviewing designer submissions. If a designer proposes a literal element, there are many recognizable agricultural images that might work (rows of crops, ag landscape, wood fruit crate, leaf, plow, tractor, etc.)
