marketing y2 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create a new logo for our society of benefactors to our iconic College
Check out marketing y2's Logo design contest…
Building for eternity (optional)
This is the society of benefactors to Queen's College at the University of Melbourne.
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors: Greens: Growth, harmony and success. Yellows: Energy, intellect, fun and youth. Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.
Please visit out website - www.queens.unimelb.edu.au - to view our College crest and to learn more about our College and to get a sense of our brand. I have included below images of Edward Sugden, our 1st Master, who the Society is named after. However, you may like to use our iconic building/tower as the image motif rather than Sugden's portrait which is what is currently used (current logos also attached). Also we think a serif font would be appropriate to fit in with our other logos, however, this need not be the same as those already used (Baskerville).
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at €269.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.

And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
