Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Baja1 is a performance automotive aftermarket parts and accessories company specializing in off-road vehicle modifications. The name comes from the Baja peninsula in Mexico where the toughest and most grueling off-road race, the Baja 1000, takes place. The founders of Baja1 have a combined 50+ years of experience in Baja and multiple Baja 1000 race wins. Baja1 Performance parts and accessories are built to be stronger, lighter, higher performing and better looking than stock parts that come on customer vehicles (UTV's, ATV, Trucks). Customers are automotive enthusiasts from all over the world who enjoy taking their vehicles off the beaten path and expect their vehicles to out perform anything else out there. Parts include roll cages, suspension components, wheels, tires, etc...

As far as layout of the logo goes we are flexible.
We would like the logo to be able to incorporate the word "Performance" and we would like it to be able to stand alone without the word "Performance".
We would also like to have an "identity mark" that can be embroidered on t-shirts and hats and in other print applications. We are thinking the "identity mark" could be as simple as "B1" or "B-1" or something of the sort.
As you'll see in the attached pictures the logo will be incorporated into the actual products (stamped into or welded on) so something that translates into a 3-D version well will work best.
We want to convey that when you put these aftermarket parts on your vehicle it becomes stronger and faster. "Baja Proven", "Baja Tested", and "Baja Strong" are slogans that conjure the image we are looking for.
An iconic image for Baja is the actual map of the Baja Peninsula itself which could be incorporated but is not necessary.
