I own a marketing and communications business that targets small businesses or nonprofits that can't afford to hire a full time director of marketing/communications. Services include media relations, public relations, advertisement placement, social media, web sites, press releases, grant writing, brand management, eNewsletters, etc.

I don't want a blue logo. Blue can be incorporated into the overall design, but I do not want the logo to be primarily blue. I'm leaning toward yellow and green, but am honestly open to anything but blue.

I have more than 20 years experience working in media (anchor/reporter), state government, higher education, architecture and for a private school. I am prioritizing my young children over a fulltime job, and as such am starting my own marketing/communications business. I am passionate about community and using the skills I have acquired over my career to help organizations. Hiring me on an hourly basis is cheaper than hiring a marketing/comms director, but the outcome will be the same: personalized attention to each organization's specific needs. I have received several ADDY awards for projects I've overseen.
