Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The New Educator Weekend (NEW) is a conference hosted by the California Teacher Association for new educators in their first 3 years of teaching. Our target audience will mostly be teachers just out of college (22-25 years old). The goal of the event is to provide support for new teachers and cover topics such as Classroom Management, Teaching is a Career, Administration & Parents, What I wish I knew my first years of teaching and Common Core/State Standards. There are also many fun social activities during the event as well.
You can visit http://www.CTAGo.org/NEW for info on past conferences. This event is held twice a year, once in Northern California and once in Southern California.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
• We want a logo that can be used year after year and can be adapted to incorporate the year and SOUTH or NORTH to distinguish between the two events held each year. However, the logo should also be able to stand alone without the year or location.
• We want to highlight the fact that the acronym for the event is NEW.
• We want the logo to convey a modern teacher, so we want to avoid things that are extremely stereotypical teacher things.
• The logo may incorporate the CTA logo, but it is not necessary. https://www.cta.org/About-CTA/Logo-…lines.aspx
