Fight or Flight :
“Design the logo for a luxurious, hand-crafted custom sneaker brand.”
Fight or Flight creates exclusive custom sneakers that are handcrafted from luxury materials. Our products merge iconic street culture with slow fashion through the production of re-interpreted Nike silhouettes that are created using traditional shoemaking methods. The company’s aesthetic creates statement pieces to be coveted rather than consumed.
Fight or Flight is seeking a logo/icon with typeface that will primarily be used for leather product tags. The logo/icon with typeface must convert well to embossing stamps. It is essential that the typeface for the two words “Fight” and Flight” can be separated out to make individual stamps. The approximate dimensions of each [word] tag is 40mm x 15mm. The logo will also be used for print and online applications.

The Flight or Flight logo has two main functions.
1. As the company logo: “Fight or Flight”
a. The company logo needs to visually belong to the industry it is in – Sneakers, high-end fashion, luxury goods/discretionary spending products, men’s street fashion, art, design and ‘bespoke’ clothing
b. It will be used primarily for product branding, but also for print and online avatars
c. The logo needs to work LARGE and small
d. The logo/typeface will be made into embossing stamps, so colour is not a vital feature
e. The logo needs to be iconic and instantly recognisable
2. As a design element on each shoe: “Fight” / “Flight”
a. Each shoe produced will have either “Fight” or “Flight” as the product tag – one word on each shoe heat-pressed, foil stamped or laser cut into leather
b. The tag placement will vary between shoes (eg on top of tongue versus a long tag up the centre of the heel), so our ideal logo is one that allows versatility of word placement (ie the main words “Fight” and “Flight” able to appear within the logo side by side but also stacked one on top of the other)
c. The symbol element of the logo may appear elsewhere on the shoe (eg stamped on the inner sole)
