Design a logo to inspire future social justice leaders

Stella Elementary Charter Academy

We are a public charter school in Los Angeles. We serve incredible children and families who live in under-served areas of our city. Our vision is for our children to become social justice leaders, who are also full of empathy, consciousness, and joy.

We’d like a school logo with a lioness mascot for Stella Elementary Charter Academy. We’d like to see the logo/mascot, with the words: Stella Elementary Charter Academy, a Bright Star School.

The lioness should represent leadership, unity and empowerment -- and not just power. As a school, our vision is to support our students to become leaders who act with integrity and champion equity to enrich our communities and the world.

We’d like to see a lioness that is in the middle between youthful and mature -- not cutesy, and not too intense. We’d like the look and feel of the lioness to be in line with our other logos (uploaded) for our middle school and high school.

We’d also like to see some versions that incorporate our four core values: integridad, ubuntu, kohyang, and growth. We are open to creative ways to integrate those four words into the logo, or to be above/below the lioness. We’d like the school name to be to the right of the logo.

We will use the logo on white as well as light blue backgrounds, and would like to see it on both options.

For colors, we’d like to see a gold/yellow lion, possibly with a dark blue outline.

The font should be Maax Bold.
