Rasurmanufaktur is a new online subscription service dedicated to wet shaving to be launched in Austria and Germany. Every clubmember receives a monthly box with alternating premium shaving items like shaving soaps, blades, shaving cream, after shave balm, covering the needs for one month. The first box also includes a safety razor and a shaving brush. Pricing per box varies between 25 and 35€ depending on the commitment period and will be cheaper than the retail price of the single items. The only direct competitor launched its services for Germany recently in September 2015: Classic Shave Club, others are only present in the US (Luxury Barber, Wet Shave Club) and the UK (The Personal Barber, Primal Man Shave Club) with high shipping fees abroad. There are several subscription models for blades cheaper than Gilette & Wilkinson in Germany (e.g. ShaveLab) and some subscription boxes for grooming products (e.g. Glossybox).
Target Group: Stylish, venturesome hetero-, homo- or transsexual man between 25-45 years with above Ø education (high school, university), mainly employed (manager, carrierist) with a high purchase power. They are urban innovators or early adaptors with main interests like fashion, sports, gourmet and lifestyle who focus on sports, shoes, bars, magazines, cigars, cars, design, eating out and they like to go for drinks with their friends in their leisure time.
