nicolemP got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Edible Garden Company Needs an Awesome Logo for Growing Niche Market
Check out nicolemP's Logo design contest…
Gardenary is an online education platform that helps ordinary people like me and you become extraordinary kitchen gardeners. Products include self-paced courses, ebooks and garden supplies for raised garden beds.
Other color requirements
Quick update-most leaves offered in current designs are Rosemary. While I like them, I'd love to see lettuce or Spinach leaves as an alternative as Rosemary really isn't my primary crop. I'd love a logo that's sophisticated and unique from other garden logos, especially because this is an edible garden company. If you use a leaf design, I'd prefer it be specifically one that's edible--like a lettuce, kale or an herb leaf like basil or rosemary.

And then… they selected a winner!
I liked the design and the designer was very responsive. However, I was unable to get the logo with a transparent background after choosing the winner. Getting the files in the form I needed was a frustrating aspect of the project. I still love the design but still don't have it in the form and color I needed.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
