How fblc.tx started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Fort Bend Learning Commons
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
My organization provides educational services (such as tutoring, college consultation, and job skills training) for young learners in Fort Bend Country, Texas. The physical store also provides an area for self-study and collaboration for our members. This is why it's called Learning Commons (like a hub for learners to gather, grow, and excel).
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I like this classy, simple design for the church/barn-like structure.
I have no idea what it is but it is authoritative and symmetrical.
I like the symmetry of this design. I read from research that symmetry helps convince credibility.
It's simple and on point. I like the combination between the typeface and the lines of the logo.
I like this a lot because it embodies multiple concepts (flask for lab, people reaching stars and moon, and house-like structure for lab) together in an elegant and creative way.
I like the clean feeling of this logo.
I love this logo a lot! It's primarily because of the hybrid of cutter knife and paint brush.
I really want to incorporate the use of a question mark on my logo because I believe that learning begins with questions.
Our mission statement is: To provide a community-focused learning hub to foster learning and cultivate curiosity for students at all age.
NOTE: The appearance of fort of any kind is unnecessary because I am afraid that it conveys an offensive feeling. I would like the design to focus more on the "Learning" and "Commons." It's a location where learners gather and cultivate new ideas from their curiosity. The logo should be inspired toward learning.
NOTE 2: If the business name is included in the logo, "Learning Commons" should be the emphasis. "Fort Bend" should be a secondary emphasis. It is also perfectly okay to eliminate "Fort Bend" from the logo.
