Even though my course will mostly target stay-home moms, I don't want it to have a "mom blog" feel. For example, I don't want a cutesy cursive or crayon font or pastel colors. I want it to feel professional.
Also, even though it has "boot camp" in the name, I don't want a military feel. For example, no camouflage colors or boot-style foot prints. I think that's too cliche.
My slogan (not part of the logo) will be "The skills you need for the lifestyle you want." Instead of simply having images of tools related to this kind of work, I'd like a logo that captures a feeling of confidence and freedom. That's what my students will feel when they complete the course.
I hope that helps you! I'm at square one and very open to original/creative ideas.
Please focus more on the "transcription" part of this than the "education" part. I don't want images of pencils or pens or a desk or things like that.
If you Google "transcription service" or "transcription school," logos with lines on a computer screen or text lines inside of headphones or a document coming out of a laptop is very typical. I'd like something more unique. I'd prefer something abstract over predictable.
I don't have a complete website yet, but here's the link to what will be the home page: http://www.gtbootcamp.com/
