How Bettadamalali Estate started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Bettadamalali Estate, a family owned Coffee plantation in India, has been operating a 'bed and breakfast (B&B)' for the past 7 years. The Estate produces some of the finest coffee in India and received the 1st prize for Quality Coffee in 2009.
We are now looking at making the estate a brand name to help us better market our Coffee, and the B&B. Our target audience for the B&B are people aged over 35, have a family, live in a city, and are looking for a place to relax in the midst of nature.
The Estate is located in Chikamagalur district (a popular tourist destination known for its hill stations). The variety of coffee we grow is known as Arabica. The estate is located at an altitude of 1125 meters above MSL and has tropical climate.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Blues (Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.)
Greens (Growth, harmony and success.)
Reds (Energy, action, passion and love.)
Always open to more options from designers.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We like a logo that will stand out in the crowd, and truly makes a statement. We encourage the designers to use their own creativity, their own colors and themes. We have attached a few pictures of coffee berries on the plant, green coffee, roasted coffee, the B&B and it's surroundings to inspire thought.
We encourage unique, original, creative, organic, and classic designs that represent the establishment (a coffee estate). The logo should be readily identifiable and the observer must be able to a draw a relationship between the logo and the establishment. It must also be sophisticated yet easy to remember.
The name of the district/county (Chikamagalur) could be added on the logo as well somewhere below the name or at the bottom of the logo. Please let us know if you need more images or more information.
