We grow leafy greens (lettuce, herbs, microgreens) for local restaurants and the local community. Our products are grown within the neighbourhood where they will be consumed, this means we can sell the freshest produce either still living or picked that morning.
We're trying to be part of the growing trend for small-scale local producers. I feel that people want to know where their food is coming from, who it was made by and (perhaps most important) to feel the passion the producer has for his or her craft.
To this end, corporate/faceless logos are out, and logos with an edge and personality are in. We're also growing in the heart of London, the definition of urban and trendy, so this needs to be kept in mind.
The challenge is to combine the following elements:
1. The fresh, healthy, vivid tasting produce
2. The modern approach to farming
3. The urban setting
4. The hand-crafted / artisan methods of the producer
