Legacy needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 175 designs submitted by 61 freelance designers.
Legacy Heart Care is a free standing cardiovascular clinic that focuses solely on a non-surgical treatment called Enhanced External Counterpulsation (EECP). Legacy currently has two locations, Austin and Fort Worth, with a growing interest to expand into other markets. The contest will be to either improve the existing logo or develop an entire new one.

EECP is FDA approved and covered by Medicare and private insurance. The facilities are build to encompass a clean, professional, and spa-like environment to accomodate the patiets' seven week regiment at the clinic. EECP is administered one hour a day, 5 days a week, for 7 weeks.Â

Having a graphic of a heart is not an obligation. Most of that is fulfilled by have the word 'heart' in the name. Yes, we deal with a treatment for heart disease, but this place is much more than that. We want the logo to represent the feel of the facility and the employees that work here. This is a spa-like environment that exudes strength and comfort. We want a look that is inviting to the apprehensive patient while clean and professional to the Director of Cardiology at Boston's top hospital.  Â
