Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
A web-based media property with useful news and advice, community and courses for the growing "gig economy," particularly entrepreneurial independent contractors who are interested in being more successful and growing their businesses. Thank Fast Company, Fortune and Inc. for independent contractors -- whether consultants, architects, web developers, , designers, writers or drivers for Uber. They are "freelance by choice," tech powered, creative and interested in being smarter about business, expanding the network of other freelancers they work with and capturing more value.

The future is a gig economy. Independent contractors are going to need a lot of support and advice. The smart ones are going to learn how to manage their business like a business. The really smart ones are going to be good citizens of the nation — supporting one another and working to make the community stronger. That’s good business in a flat world economy where authority, trust and personal brand count for more than your legacy or the size of the territory you conquered.
