Contest for a logo for unPRESSedented, a new publishing company. We love the idea of networks or groups of people contributing to a solution, idea, process, or project. Logo should not be too "cartoony" or too "technical". We like Web 2.0 styles.
Winner must produce full size logo, "mini" logo, and 3-4 color scheme.

a novel publishing company
Desired Color Scheme:
We are hoping for something vibrant since most of the site will be text
Desired Style:
The logo should not feel either too “cartoony” or too “technical.” We want to convey friendly, open, creative, fresh, and people oriented, and simple – not busy. We want the logo to be contemporary (i.e. Web 2.0 style) and professional.
Accepted File Formats:
Vector or AI, PSD, and EPS (winner to send original layered files and fonts), should include hi-res for printing
unPRESSedented is a new company involved in fiction publishing (website not yet up). We love the idea of networks or groups of people contributing to a solution, idea, process, or project.
Please submit only original work.
We are open minded about this logo. We have been extremely impressed by the quality of the designers on this site and even more impressed by the creativity of the designers. We look forward to seeing that creative process in action.
The logo must include the name "unPRESSedented" (while we will have a website, we do not want the ".com" in the logo). We like the lower and uppercase letters as typed here, but we are open to suggestions on better ways to write our name.
The mini logo must be suitable for printing on the spine of a book. Due to the nature and size of this "mini" logo we will likely need some kind of identifying graphic that should be incorporated into the full size logo as well.
The color scheme (3-4 colors) will be used later in the development of a template, likely to be posted as a separate contest here.
Winning logo will be used on our website and in print.
The winning designer will need to sign a simple work-for-hire agreement (that we will provide by email) transferring all rights to the logo to us upon full payment to the designer.
Good luck to all! We look forward to seeing your entries.
