I really loved how he grasped my initial brief and then worked with me through numerous designs until it was perfect. Well done!
Responsive, professional, quick to understand our needs and the direction of the project, and a quick turnaround. 5 stars!
Artist was truly original and delivered exactly what we wanted. Had very few major revisions, was quick to respond and allowed us to end the contest well ahead of schedule. Will try to work with them again.
The Best of the Best! Thank you! 10stars!

My current concept is to create a B&W logo that will primarily be seen 1) on digital marketing materials and 2) can be burned onto a piece of wood. Therefore it might be acceptable to have a 'simple' and a 'complex' version of the same logo.
I have been working through iterations for a while now, and feel pretty confident that I would like to use some version of the sail of a 'dhow' as the main visual element in my logo. In addition, I have been playing around with how to incorporate swahili patterns in the sail or around the sail.
I've created a pinterest board that I'll share here with some concepts I have sketched up as well as other logos I am drawn too for inspiration.
