We want to express unity...
In each of the photos attached, you will see two trees growing side by side and forming "one" tree. I will include additional info below regarding the two trees growing together as one... READ THE FULL BRIEF!
We like the two colors (lighter and darker) to add definition to each of the two trees and to show unity and at the same time balance (the ying and the yang concept) You can see this balance in the two trees growing together as one...
one is a darker tree in color, one lighter
one is more thick and masculine and one more feminine...
if you look really closely you can almost see the ying and yang in the tree.
On our farm there is a special place and a special, lone tree. Or at least it appears to be a single, majestic tree. However, further close inspection reveals that it is actually two distinctly different and unique trees. The two trees have grown in such a way that they have become intertwined, a part of each other. Or in other words, “they have grown together as one.”
From any distance, only the more discerning eye will notice that this beautiful tree is actually two beautiful trees. They are different colors, and posses completely different characteristics. One is slender and delicate, the other is stout and appears very masculine and strong. Both seem to support and complete the other. Neither one would be whole without the other.
These two trees, grown together as one, have not only become our farm icon, but also the ideal that we strive to make a reality. We hope and dream of a time when family and friends will “Gather As One, Together As One.
If possible, we are looking for a conceptual design showing the two trees (obviously two trees, but growing together as one
Very opened to ideas and creativity! Thank you!!
