UPDATE SEPT 27 NOTES ON UPLOADED LOGOS:
I have uploaded the benefit, iconk, and shisheido logos because they are examples where a distinctive design has been created by altering the letter(s) in the text. I think for Niora some original art on of the letters would even be better.
I find the body shop logo kinda of plain, but have included it because it is an example where distinction has been created by subtly incorporating a symbol into a letter. I think I prefer altering the lettering over adding a symbol, but that Body Shop logo is instantly recognizable. The Vapor logo above is a nice example of this.
I really like the fonts used in the vapor, ego and sunday riley logo, and love the skewed(?) placement of the Ego logo.
The korres logo is one of the few times I have seen a leaf in a logo used that look unique.
I have included the hafiz bacoote logo because it is an interesting way to get an artistic letter over the text.
I have included the society27 logo because it is just so clean and elegant looking, but mainly I like the artistic symbol above the text. I am thinking perhaps an artistic 'N' could be used instead.
The ojon logo is included because it's clean, recognizable and has used original art to acheive beauty and uniqueness.
OUR GOAL is produce a logo that would be a design element on our skin care packaging, website and printed literature. Once we have a logo we will submit for packaging designs.
The logo should be distinctive, yet simple and clean, and present the feeling of solidity, integrity but doesn't get away from the fact that we are an company that handcrafts our own skin care and use natural organic ingredients. Our customers value that we make safe, natural skin care, free from unnecessary ingredients, and that they feel connected to us. But the label should also reflect that we are making clinically sophisticated and innovative skin care products.
As we are going to be putting the logo on a variety of differently shaped bottles, we like a logo that on some bottles has the word 'naturals' as part of the logo, and/or a matching letter 'N' (like the Este Lauder and the Clinique logos) but where this logo could be used without those two extending elements (the 'N' and 'naturals').
The products that we need labels designed for in the next contest using the logo created here will be an 8oz and a 4oz bottle, (http://www.niora.com/product_info.php/alpha-clear-adult-acne-treatment-p-13), the 1oz and 1/2oz bottles (http://www.niora.com/index.php/anti), and the 4oz jar (http://www.niora.com/product_info.p).
