christy_r_miller got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Meet your meat in Marfa, Texas -- most magical place in the west

Raised in TEXAS - it doesn't have to be incorporated, but great if it makes sense
Marfa Meats is a direct-to-consumer subscription beef business. We want our customers to feel like our neighbors - so they know we cared for the cow - because we do. And that the meat is good, because it is. each submission needs to deliver full-color, black and white and social avatar Here are my thoughts on where we live in far west texas. It's the expanse, partly. All those songs about Texas skies aren't wrong; I'm distilled by the profundity of the night. The high altitude desert isn't an easy or safe place in many respects. Long distances divide points on a map, magnifying the "middle's" uninhabited beauty and danger. Everything pokes you out here. A reminder, perhaps, not to get complacent. There was a prairie rattler I passed on my ride yesterday morning. Yet, the cacti give fruit, the mesquite yield flour and fire, and the fucking tumbleweeds, bain of my existence, just insist on creating atmosphere. Not to mention how fantastic a backdrop the Ft Davis Mountains are for a ride. So, there's deep gratitude flowing here. And when the wire-haired javelinas trot through the lot next door.... ahhh. Physical connection aside, Marfa is an island of culture/art mashed up with ranchers, manana philosophy, and guys named Bubba. Maybe it just comes down to the fact that my dog has an endless supply of jackrabbits and roadrunners to chase down here and I get to walk on a dirt road on my way to eat gourmet food.
I've attached a file with some things that resonate with me. This is a female owned business in a very masculine world. I'm interested in what kind of mash up we can figure out around that. Thank you!
