We like the play on the "reflection" of the cross in our seal- it supports our slogan "Reflecting Christ in Anesthesia Education". I would like to see our initials MTSA and then maybe a cross reflection off the "T" or maybe changing the "T" into a cross?
Primary goal is ability to embroider, we have the seal for formal documents.
Including our name Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia into the design would also be good. I would like something that we could print with or without our full name and still identify us as MTSA. I prefer to stay away from the caduceus.
I added a universally recognized symbol of anesthesia in the attachments. I can not illustrate it, but a thought of mine is the letters "MTSA". The "T" could be a cross, or have a cross reflecting in some manner. The "A" could be an original designed anesthesia mask inspired by the universally recognized image attached. I don't want it to be cheesy, simple is better. I only present this because if it could be captured, it would represent two cornerstones to our mission: Christian and Anesthesia.
I keep coming back to the incorporation of the letters MTSA in the logo. My rationale is that we do not have the resources to purchase brand recognition of an abstract logo. Nike has spent millions teaching us to recognize the swoosh. We need something that either embodies who we are or has it spelled out in some fashion. Just my thoughts. Looking forward to seeing your work.
I uploaded another concept. The laryngoscope is a recognizable anesthesia tool. Below you have a sketch (sorry so rough) of using the laryngoscope as the letter "A" and a reflecting cross.
