IDCni got their new logo design by running a design contest:
State.com Logo Design
Check out IDCni's Logo design contest…
SouthDakota.com needs a logo. Rustic, unique, artisic font or block letters - it's up to you. We want to create a lasting .com "brand" - SouthDakota.com DO NOT focus on background. Focus on Font-presentation of SouthDakota.com.
What's your vision?
Tagline: "explore | life" Desired Color Scheme: Brown, Tan, Red, Rust, Maroon, Black - pick from these Desired Style: Modern or Wild West - Rustic possible. Clearly Readable. Brandable. Focus on SouthDakota.com presentation Accepted File Formats: Standard Web Formats (.jpg, .gif or .png) SouthDakota.com - explore | life Logo Design - with .com in the logo yet .com MINIMIZED and not the focus of the design and with or without the "explore | life" tagline. explore | life is where we were heading as we were going to have 2 site focuses...exploring and life in. Potential Ideas - Rustic, unique, artisic font or block letters - it's up to you. Wild West or modern options, but make the Font/Writing stand out. A couple state logos we like are Utah http://travel.utah.gov/news_and_media/media_relations/index.html and North Dakota http://www.ndtourism.com/ just for reference. Use your own imaginationn. Colors are suggested yet if you have something you love (say blue on grey) go ahead. We plan to run a site design contest next week. If integrating objects, Mt Rushmore, pheasants & agriculture are options (wheat and corn). Objects not necessary, but optional. Our focus will be on the FONT and look for the SouthDakota.com - make it bold but not obnoxious. PLEASE focus on the presentation of SouthDakota.com and not focus on backgrounds and such as design is not started. Shading is great as desired, but present on a solid color background please.Â
