TakeCARE Schools: Building Committed, Dynamic School Communities (this is our banner)

Our training program provides interactive teacher-administrator training for schools on communication skills necessary to build strong school communities. THe training program is on an interactive computer DVD and includes moments of truth, AWEsome communication, a CARE model for handling difficult situations, and e-TALK and e_TYPE training. Our initial target is elementary level, but we want to do interactive DVDs for all levels. Ultimately, we may do other types of teacher education, but right now we're focused on building communication skills. As far as we can tell, this is a one of a kind program so we want a strong, dynamic, positive look. It shouldn't be a fakey school look or condescending or patronizing - but something that captures the energy of our concept with a strong school/education commitment. We are targeting the full diversity of schools in the nation - our program is diverse in its teachers and students. We want to embrace, inspire, invite, welcome, collaborate, thrill our audience. Words we use in teh website include: create a collaborative school culture, cultivate supportive parent relationships, promote positive school climate.
