Desired Style:
The design should resemble a web 2.0 style site. Any fonts used in the logo should be in script type style
Accepted File Formats:
PSD, HTML, CSS
The Uncoded blog/website prize is $250, Coding is an additional $150, web 2.0 style logo is $100.
The aim of the cow corner blog/website is to create a place for visitors to find out about some of the greatest flash games websites offered through out the internet. We want to give our site visitors the option of finding some of the best games out there, and thus we must show them some of the best sites offering games on the web. We want a friendly, aesthetically pleasing and very functional website to help them with this. So we have chosen wordpress for its ease of use, and ease of customization in both templates and the script itself.
The logo needs to be slightly revised for this site, but can incorporate some of the aspects of the current logo but with a web 2.0 feel. Check out buzzshout dot com for ideas of web 2.0 type logos.
On the website we want to have the following main areas:
Top 10 websites A place where we will review/rank (monthly) some of the most popular websites offering flash games on the web.
Users Choice A place where the site visitors/users can submit there links to their favorite games over the web (They must be registered on the main website to do this.)
Blog The actual blog that we will update/maintain on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
As a side note, we would also like to make use of two of the available wordpress widgets that allows us to:
a) Pay bloggers a portion of adsense earnings.
b) Show RSS feeds from popular news sites referencing information about fun flash games, new innovations in flash games, and fun flash games sites.
As far as colors and layout go we would like you to imitate the main site (Arcadecow dot com). Of course we want some innovative and creative ideas as well so do not be afraid to add you own bit of spice to the design etc. IF you need another good idea of where we are going with this, check out jayisgames dot com. PLEASE DO NOT REFERENCE THE MAIN WEBSITE IN ANY OF YOUR SUBMISSIONS!
The website logo should portray a web 2.0 look/feel, and possibly incorporate a similar (script type) font as the arcade cow logo. We want it to look professional but more so fun.
Hopefully enough information has been provided to warrant some great entries, but we welcome any questions/concerns that you may have.
