Branko took my references and created a first draft that was so close to what I was looking for, that I knew I had found the right designer.

Bats'il Diva is a new concept in nail salons. We are a nail bar that combines manicures and pedicures with free drinks and a fun atmosphere. The Bats'il Diva is authentic, glamorous, and fun-loving. We want a logo that is easy to recognize, and shouldn't be difficult to design. We are not looking for a logo that would work for a typical neighborhood beauty salon, but rather one that would work just as well for a bar, upscale nightclub or high-class fashion label. Think elegance, simplicity, and modernity. The logo should look good on a reddish-fucsia background, should look good both in large form (we will place it on the wall) and small (our websites, brochures and business cards). The color of the wall is close to this color in Photoshop: f0075e.

The apostrophe in Bats'il Diva is an apostrophe, not an accent mark.
We like classic fashion logos like the Calvin Klein logo, Chanel, etc. The logo should convey glamor, elegance, and simplicity. However we are open to a wide range of creative suggestions as you are the designers, not us.
Target audience is upper-middle income women, 25-45 year old, college educated. They have disposable income and come to the salon with their friends to improve their appearance and relax. They are highly image-conscious and tend toward snobbiness. They are both intelligent and a bit frivolous. This is an aspirational, luxury brand. The mark should convey timeless elegance. Above all, we are trying to distinguish ourselves from the typical, budget-oriented neighborhood nail-salon.
