allisonhouse got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Weather data company needs a logo
Check out allisonhouse's Logo design contest…
AllisonHouse is a data aggregation and integration company that specializes in severe weather and severe weather related data like high resolution radar data, tornado reports, lightning strike reports, etc. We are not like weather.com or the like. Customers usually purchase a subscription of our data to 'plugin' to software they already own from one of several weather software visualization providers we integrate with. Customers usually come to us because the various "free" weather data sources on the net are not reliable enough for use in mission critical situations (storm chasers, 911 centers, TV stations, etc).
What's your vision?
Accepted File Formats: Standard Web Formats (.jpg, .gif or .png); Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai); Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff) Our website is located at www.allisonhouse.com so you can see the kind of data we provide. It has a wide range but primarily related to severe weather. I like the current website color scheme but would be open to other ideas if it makes the logo/design look better. The logo should incorporate the name of the company 'AllisonHouse' (capital A, capital H) but also be able to have the name removed from the logo and still have a recognizable 'logo' for use as an icon on a website or on a shirt or whatever. I would prefer a clean logo. I had traditionally used just fancy script of 'AllisonHouse' but that doesn't work very well by itself in advertising, etc. If you want to work in a tagline please use "Providing Severe Weather Data When You Need It!"
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at €269.
