Rodney Liber got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Who wants to rock the next logo hard?
Check out Rodney Liber's Logo design contest…
I do not currently have a slogan but am open to ideas if it seems worth doing.
We sell Jeep parts, mods, accessories, apparel and are targeting people with an obvious interest in Jeep who are into the community, like modding their Jeep, and/or taking the Jeep onto a variety of rough 4x4 trails up in the mountains. People who have Jeeps and need replacement parts are also a target since we sell a variety of replacement parts.
Logo types to explore
This must be a vectored logo for large format digital prints and website. What ideas do you have for the style/theme of your logo design? I think smaller, simpler, sleeker is stronger VS too complex, too complicated, too messy. Is there some type of historic theme that can be incorporated into your logo, i.e. something from your local city, state? Can you combine elements of something regional or global into your logo that will have meaning? I think the fact that Jeeps were originally an American company and to most folks are considered American all the way around is something we should play on but I am not sure how that can really be done as obviously I don’t want a massive USA or US Flag in the logo or in other words I don’t want my logo to be all patriotic. What is the feeling you want to portray when someone looks at your logo? Adventure, Outdoorsy, Like a breath of fresh air on a beautiful day when you are hiking a perfect trail with great nature views. What other logos can designers draw inspiration from? Collin Bros Jeep -- http://collinsbrosjeep.com/ -- In some cases this is bad - but in CB Jeep's case like how they took the CB and added the wings. Quadratec -- http://www.quadratec.com/ -- Not a huge fan of their logo, don't like the big green circle or the way the letters shift those particularly ugly colors Linkedin - https://brand.linkedin.com/etc/designs/linkedin/katy/global/clientlibs/img/default-share.png --- Logo just seems clever to me. Like how they are able to play on the words American Muscle - americanmuscle.com -- Similar simplicity that I like Mopar - mopar.com -- I don't think logo is clear enough but I do like the simplicity of it
