TrueWindPub got their new logo design by running a design contest:
True Wind Publishing
Check out TrueWindPub's Logo design contest…
We need a clean, clear logo design for "True Wind Publshing" with a tropical/wind/sailing theme for letterheads, email signatures, and shipping labels. We hope to work with the winner to fine tune the winning logo. Later, it will be developed into a brand for bookjackets and our website. Last minute idea - Anyone want to try some designs with backgrounds of various classic sailing ships (clipper, square rigger, etc.) with "True Wind" in gold italic script overlaying it?

What's your vision?
True Wind Publishing is dedicated to the clear, fresh wind we experience when sailing - driving us, supporting us, and challenging us. Our books are about relationships and the challenges of modern times.
- the design must look as good in black and white as in color. - we prefer natural peaceful themes and colors - tans, greens etc. - images that appeal to us are sails and water - looks good at different sizes - the design should present a classic, refined image
- Flashy, animation, funny, whimsical
