Thank you for your great work, we like it very much. They responded very promptly all the time, and respected my detailed requests. We have no stress with dealing with them throughout the project.
How siskiyousoilco started their logo & hosted website journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a garden supply store in the northern California area near Mount Shasta. we want 2 logos. one with the outline of Mount Shasta and massive roots coming down. And our name MOUNTAIN ROOTS in front of it. Another with just MOUNTAIN ROOTS and have roots coming down out of the letters. We want it to have an earthy feel but sophisticated
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We like the kind of font in the following pictures. We really like the rising over obstacles through stems logo. Also this logo will be going on a 4ft x 8ft sign on the front of our store
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the logo and hosted website?
We are located in Yreka, California near Mt. Shasta. We would like to try to really emphasize the logo/Mt. Shasta so people will have the brand recognition associated with us. I have looked at a few gardening websites and the theme I keep seeing is a white background with a lot a bright colors like green and orange that make you think of springtime, summer, and fall. We would also like to keep it simple. We are mainly selling soil and water right now. At this point we are not able to offer online sales of gardening supplies, however that is something we would like to transition into once our shop is up and running. We are a garden supply store so I would like to see some special touches on the header portion that would emphasize what we do to draw peoples eye in and make them want to purchase from our site. We do a lot of pictures of the soil yard and totes as well as large tractor trailers unloading the soil at the yard. I would also like to incorporate a picture of the front of our store somewhere on the front page (maybe off to the side). More ideas to come!
