Flexible and on the ball. Great idea implementation on the logo
How carlincomms started their logo & hosted website journey
Who are you known as?
What’s your company slogan?
Time to shine events and communications (maybe too long)
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Highly personalised, creative and innovative event management solutions for private and corporate clients. No event too big or small but all delivered with the highest quality production values where attention to the smallest detail is key. Transformation is at the heart of the creative process making the mundane not only memorable but truly stand out. Carlin Creative will be both services driven - full event management service and product led - customers will be able to buy certain displays, table centre pieces, edible presents so the predominance of this site will be the visual image. Think Martha Stewart meets Pinterest but for the Irish market. Target audience people with money. High end clients and corporates.

Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
Yellows: Energy, intellect, fun and youth.
Reds: Energy, action, passion and love.

I will include a number of visuals that represent my own personal taste defined colours - black and burnished gold and red. The gold with a rich sparkle (see image attached). I like strong, clean, angular lines (like the picture attached) exuding richness and embodying good taste. At the heart of what I do is the process of transformation - taking an idea, a plate of food, a table setting, a room, a building and turning it into something special, something that has the wow factor. Somehow I would like the image to reflect that process of transformation from black (coal) to (sparkly gold) with perhaps the use of deep red to mark the transition. Or not! I'll leave it up to the experts. I'll also attach some images of what I have done to date. The first three images represent a recent 40th birthday party - table settings for a 40th birthday - zoom into the candle bowl to see the detail. Also zoom into the flower bowl to see the lemons - transformation, creativity, simplicity and attention to detail. Hope this helps.
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the logo and hosted website?
Visual - clean - angular - rich - high quality - attention to detail - focus on the visual image. Same brand to migrate to Facebook/Social media. Black, burnished gold and red - a Royal rich feel without being fussy.
Jimdo templates to explore
Haven't thought this through just yet but imagine the first page to be a big image with three smaller below it. And other pages to include - About Me About You. A services page. Ideas page. Blog Page and a Contact Page.
