How Blynd-Date started their app design journey
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
This is a fun blind speed-dating app. Two individuals chat for a short period of time. Neither knows what the other looks like. At the end of the chat, if they both like each other, their profiles are revealed.
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the app?
I want an app that captures the dark but fun veil of mystery that comes with the blind-date.
Also, the speed dating adds a fun spin as well. I want this to be captured.
However, I don't want to go overboard with fun as I fear people may not end up taking it seriously. But I'm open to be convinced if anyone feels strongly about the fun spin.
In terms of colors, I'm not strongly opinionated. I want the dark theme to be captured.
Screen 1 (Getting-Started)
The very first view that someones sees once they install the app. This screen contains the Sign up/Login buttons.
I want us to capture the essence of the app - blind-dating, speed-dating - to come out in this screen.
Screen 2 (Call-to-Action)
Assuming the user is already logged in, they should be in this view. This view should contain an icon or text that invites the user to start searching for someone to chat with.
Screen 3 (Profile)
The profile view should contain the user's image and 3 words describing the person.
Screen 4 (Chat)
The chat lasts for 3.5 minutes. Afterwards, they are directed to the next view, Chat Decision.
Screen 5 (Chat Decision)
In this screen, the user has to choose whether to like or not. If they choose to like the person they chatted with, they get to see the person's profile if that person also feels the same way.
